About this paper
Shivakanth Sujit, Luca Nunziante, Rousslan Fernand Julien Dossa, Kai Arulkumaran
The authors test whether one-step Euler inference can preserve task success in flow-matching vision-language-action policies, replacing repeated evaluations of a learned velocity field without retraining. In simulation, π₀.₅ scores 98.9% on LIBERO SGO with one step versus 98.5% with 10, within a prespecified equivalence margin. Across 36 simulation comparisons, 23 are equivalent; real-world equivalence is not established.
