HiP3R reconstructs long videos as a globally consistent 3D map and camera trajectory. It first aligns overlapping chunks using neighboring links and distant revisits, then refines shared camera poses for repeated frames while holding chunk placements fixed. On VBR, its ATE is 22.44 m versus 41.27 m for loop-enabled VGGT-Long; this is Sim(3)-aligned benchmark evidence, not absolute metric-scale accuracy.
