About this paper

Thanh-Nguyen Truong, Vu-Hoang Tran, Ching-Chun Huang

The Modular Contact Operator adds an adjustable Coulomb-friction correction after a garment predictor makes its one-pass prediction. It estimates contact load, applies a stick-or-slip rule, follows the body surface, and propagates the correction through cloth. On HOOD and ContourCraft, increasing μ monotonically raises sticking and lowers relative slip; this response is less steep than PPF’s across 40 sequences.
