About this paper

Hans van Ditmarsch, Djanira Gomes, Rojo Randrianomentsoa, Thomas Studer

Authors introduce three-valued semantics for belief on directed simplicial models, where each agent’s local state specifies accessible partial states. This lets beliefs about absent agents be undefined rather than false. They provide sound-and-complete axiomatizations: BLOC for directed and upward models, and IBLOC for cups, adding an independence principle. Cups represent local states but exclude dead agents and restricted global combinations.
