About this paper

Omar El Housni, Ulysse Hennebelle

The authors develop a static threshold policy for two-sided assortment optimization under MNL choice, where customers choose suppliers and suppliers face capacity-limited, adversarially trimmed backlogs. The policy filters assortments to retain threshold-eligible matches. For standard TSAO, it guarantees at least half the adaptive customized benchmark’s expected revenue; fully static matching has a separate one-quarter guarantee.
