About this paper
Till Hielscher, Fabio Scaparro, Kai O. Arras
The system selects and sequences reusable gestures from a library, then modulates their style to fit context. It encodes gestures as Dynamic Movement Primitives and maps descriptions to controls. In Pepper video ratings, its context alignment exceeded unmodulated and API-level baselines (both p<0.001); the evidence is limited to this study, while other robots were qualitative demonstrations.
