UniPCH coordinates cross-chain payments across UTXO and smart-contract account channels through a common interface of operations and authorization rules. The authors provide realizations for both channel models, while other ledgers require their own conforming, secure realization. In a Go prototype, selective evidence refresh cuts Far-path account-payment time by 28.5% and bandwidth by 63.3% per payment versus full refresh.
