About this paper

The authors introduce PCPS, a diffusion-guided method for reconstructing X-ray ptychography measurements. It progressively increases coupling between noisy states, allowing broader exploration at high noise and retaining more of the current state as sampling proceeds. On 11 test objects at 20% overlap, PCPS-100 had lower mean complex NRMSE than matched DAPS-100: 0.151 versus 0.181. This accuracy result applies to tested conditions, not acquisition time.
