About this paper
Minxing Chu, Anhang Li, Martins Atilla, Ruichen Qi, Mehdi Saligane
The authors study whether AI agents can edit analog-layout generators rather than draw each layout. In gLayout experiments in SKY130, they test source patches across related configurations, with hidden configurations checked only at the end. GPT-6.1, prompted without reply-format rules, verified 44 of 52 reuse episodes; 45 of 46 verified anchors passed all 16 hidden configurations across 24 tasks.
