About this paper

Orson Mengara

The authors construct a Hilbert space and Hamiltonian for flowed loop observables along a subsequence of four-dimensional reflection-positive Wilson lattice states. They give necessary and sufficient spectral-weight conditions for a gap in this sector: low-energy weight vanishes for every observable, while finite-energy weight survives for some. They do not establish these conditions in four dimensions or construct the continuum theory.
