About this paper
Nour-Eddine Moumni, Rachid Alaoui, Driss Kiouach
The authors evaluate a queue-aware deep Q-network (DQN) for assigning electric vehicles to charging stations on Moroccan road networks in simulation. Its state combines battery charge, station distance, occupancy, and waiting queue length. In Rabat’s evening peak, DQN delivered 919.5 kWh versus 872.1 kWh for a heuristic, but did not significantly reduce mean waiting time; results are simulation-based.
