The authors compare continuous Pleasantness and Eventfulness ratings with retrospective eight-attribute PAQ ratings across 1,782 paired trials. They test temporal averages and map retrospective ratings to direct ratings, holding out participants and streets. The full 30-second average best matches retrospective scores among tested summaries; an empirical mapping reduces joint error by 4.9% in both tests, but external generalization remains untested.
