SomaAlign combines a six-modality soft robotic grasping dataset with a method for aligning camera, tactile, inertial, and text observations. It uses masked-reconstruction difficulty as a relative reliability proxy, then adjusts pairwise contrastive alignment and refines consistency. On a fixed test subset, it achieves 90.66% mean Recall at 10, versus 70.55% for an ImageBind-style baseline. This measures retrieval correspondence, not grasp success.
