TRIO uses three separately trained agents to propose retrieval queries, judge evidence sufficiency, and answer from retrieved context. It can search for up to three rounds, with the judge deciding when to stop. On Bamboogle, an out-of-domain short-answer benchmark, TRIO-8B reaches 0.496 exact match, versus 0.288 for DRAG. The result does not establish reliable live search or long-form generation.
