About this paper
Federico Fioravanti, Leo Kurata, Vasilis Stamatis
The authors characterize rules for aggregating single-category individual classifications into collective classifications that may assign several categories to each object. Individuals must use every category, and collective memberships must be supported. Junta rules let a fixed coalition secure each object-category membership. For finite populations, the stated axioms characterize these rules; requiring single-category outcomes restores dictatorship.
