About this paper
Tali Kaufman, Huy Tuan Pham
The authors prove exact agreement theorems that turn consistency on sampled overlaps into agreement with one global assignment. Their method tracks first disagreements with a coordinatewise majority through random exposure, using sampling variance and conditioned spectral gaps. For every rank-k matroid, testing bases through (k−1)-element independent sets gives soundness at most 72(k−1), under the stated test and sampling assumptions.
