TrafficInstruct is a dataset and benchmark covering ten network-analysis tasks, with 55,000 structured instruction-tuning records. It links labels to task-specific evidence and keeps observations from each collection activity in one partition. The authors train separate LoRA adapters on a frozen Qwen3.8-27B. Encrypted application/service classification reaches 70.4% Macro-F1 versus 57.6% for random forest, a task-specific result.
