About this paper

Yuke Xing, William Gordon, Jiarui Wang, Yujie Zhang, Guangtao Zhai, Yiling Xu

The authors introduce 3DGSV-Assessor, a system for rating compressed 3D Gaussian Splatting scenes from rendered videos, with or without one captured view of the scene. It predicts overall, geometry, and color quality, using a learned scene-level reference cue rather than frame alignment. On within-scene test folds, overall SRCC is 0.9714 versus 0.9154 for DOVER; this is not an unseen-scenes test.
