About this paper
Nick Brown, Daniyal Arshad
Wolfpine is a simulator that runs unmodified TT-Metal programs for Tenstorrent’s Wormhole and Blackhole accelerators. It offers optional timing costs and traces to expose execution details without hardware access. For one Tensix core running Nekbone on a P150 Blackhole, it predicts 60,066 cycles against 62,509 measured, a 3.9% total error. It is cycle-driven, not cycle-accurate; phase errors remain about 9–10%.
