About this paper
Jam Kabeer Ali Khan, Jinhao Tan, Bruno C. d. S. Oliveira
The authors present a typed calculus where linking separately compiled modules is an ordinary source-language operation. They elaborate source links into core terms, and the core linker produces the same terms from compiled modules and interfaces. Lean mechanizes a proof that static and dynamic linking preserve source behavior, including matching divergence, assuming loaded values correspond to compiled forms; loading itself is outside the calculus.
