About this paper

Samson Abramsky, Radha Jagadeesan

The authors define essential unitarity as a reversibility test for higher-order quantum processes. They regroup each typed interface into incoming and outgoing boundary ports, then test whether the induced boundary matrix is unitary. They prove every morphism in their coherent quantum core passes and show that the calculus includes an applied quantum switch. This result applies only to the defined calculus.
